It is our absolute pleasure to honor Barbara Malone as Resident of the Month here at Darby Glenn! 🏡💐

Barbara has been a cherished member of our community since September 2010, and over the years, she’s become so much more than a resident—she’s a daily inspiration, a warm presence, and a true member of the Darby Glenn family.

You’ll often find Barbara:
📺 Relaxing with her favorite TV shows
🎉 Calling out numbers and spreading smiles at bingo
📞 Serving as our evening receptionist—always greeting others with kindness and grace
🐱 Lovingly caring for Fluffy, our beloved community cat, who absolutely adores her

Connecting at the Expo 4 Seniors

Yesterday, representatives from Darby Glenn, Trueman Pointe, Crown Pointe, McNaughten Pointe, and Tuscany Gardens had the pleasure of participating in the Expo 4 Seniors — and what an incredible experience it was!

We truly enjoyed the opportunity to connect with potential clients, network with fellow professionals, and share all the amazing things happening at our communities. The energy, conversations, and sense of collaboration made this event one to remember.

Carnival Day Fun!

Our National Nursing Home Week celebration kept the excitement rolling today with a festive Carnival Day! Residents enjoyed classic fun with food trucks, face painting, and plenty of games that brought out everyone’s playful side.

From a life-sized game of Hungry Hungry Hippos to a lively round of musical chairs, the laughter and joy were contagious. It was a colorful day full of smiles, community, and carnival cheer!

We’re so grateful for these moments of connection and celebration.

Giddy Up for Western Day!

We kept the fun going for National Nursing Home Week with a rootin’-tootin’ Western Day celebration on Tuesday! Residents and staff came dressed in their best cowboy hats and bandanas, ready for a day full of country charm.

The highlight? A surprise visit from a petting zoo! The smiles were as big as Texas as everyone got to meet and cuddle some adorable animals. It was a heartwarming experience that brought joy, laughter, and a little bit of farm magic to our day.

This week just keeps getting better!
