Did you know the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has a Family Access Membership? This is a discounted membership for families in Ohio that qualify for eligible programs including WIC, Medicaid or the Ohio Direction EBT card. You can purchase this membership in the Membership and Season Pass Processing building at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Photo ID, proof of Ohio residency, as well as participation in a qualifying program is required at time of purchase. The membership admits up to two primary named adult members in the same household, plus either dependent children OR grandchildren up to age 21 (not both) to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Regular Price: $45.

On Thursday, my son and I participated in 2FGR 5k for Down Syndrome. Not only was it a beautiful night, it was a beautiful event for a great cause!

Being an educator these days is not easy. As I watch this video, I remember our why! It is for these children’s futures. I don’t know this school but this is such a cool video. It is a good reminder of how to find the good in all the bad around us! Your kids are the good in this world. Take time over the holidays to give your kids a big hug from me! They are my reason!
