At The Table Communication is an organization whose mission is to support the preservation of families through education, leadership development and personal development. Our goal is to bring families back to the table, engaging in face-to-face interactions in an effort to tighten what seems to be an unraveling cord that once knitted us as American families. Our specific target is youth and young

adults ages 14-25 years of age. We do this by teaching relationship education classes, workshops and training for youth and young adults that build life skills. We’ll serve to bridge the gap between families and young people teaching concepts that facilitate healthy relationships between parent/child, dating couples and spouses, employers/employees, etc. We endeavor to give young people life tools that are effective in giving them an advantage against poverty, unwanted teen pregnancy and abortion while simultaneously reducing dating and domestic violence.

Delay does NOT mean denial.

Last year, I sent pitches to schools to speak to students. The responses were not "no's nor yes," but not now. After my mother passed on Christmas, I felt as though I was lost & ungrounded. I began questioning what I deeply believe is my identity and purpose in life.😮 I was in mourning, and it was challenging my core.

Then God sent my sister and fellow educator, Tiffany Brave from IHS, to say YES to my pitch! As SOON as she asked me come, identity and purpose awakened within. God spoke to me in prayer and reminded of WHO I AM and my call. I enthusiastically replied, "Yes!"

After several changes, the door opened, and I entered. The students were engaged, actively participated, and were captivated in our time together. I am eternally grateful to be sent to serve in this plentiful harvest of young people exists.

Each student also received a copy of my new mental health journal for teens. They LOVE them.
God is so good! I'm ecstatic!

Bloom where you're planted and transplant yourself when necessary. Beautiful things grow in all sorts of places. Flowers bloom in well nurtured soil. Plants, weeds, and flowers also grow in hard places like concrete jungles.

We have the capacity to bloom, grow, and thrive in different types of soil. The outcome can vary based upon the seed, soil, and other environmental factors.

Either way, YOU have growth potential within you. Sometimes, that growth potential will lead you to relocate or reposition yourself. Transplant yourself into new soil, better access to sunlight, more rain, less traffic, so that you can BEcome your greater self.

You're eager for the date because you anticipate the juicy conversation. You've got your list of curiosities ready to fire off to them. You want to ask this, that, and the 3rd question. You're ready, ready!

But... you find yourself pulling and even dragging information from them. So now what??? DON'T DO IT!! NO COMPROMISE!!
Try again. And again. But DO NOT compromise.

Consider the following:

What you ask - information you seek
When you ask - stage of date or relationship
How you ask - tone of the question
Why you ask - significance of question
Who you ask - ALWAYS consider audience
Where you ask - environment/situation effects conversation/interaction. They say, "This is not the time nor the place for this!"
