At The Table Communication, LLC Preserving families by empowering young women toward healthy relationships through education, leader

At The Table Communication is an organization whose mission is to support the preservation of families through education, leadership development and personal development. Our goal is to bring families back to the table, engaging in face-to-face interactions in an effort to tighten what seems to be an unraveling cord that once knitted us as American families. Our specific target is youth and young adults ages 14-25 years of age. We do this by teaching relationship education classes, workshops and training for youth and young adults that build life skills. Weโ€™ll serve to bridge the gap between families and young people teaching concepts that facilitate healthy relationships between parent/child, dating couples and spouses, employers/employees, etc. We endeavor to give young people life tools that are effective in giving them an advantage against poverty, unwanted teen pregnancy and abortion while simultaneously reducing dating and domestic violence.

Hot and cold energy is a red flag. Attention shows up only when it's convenient. Affection? That's steady, consistent energy. They show up even when it's not easy. Which one are you experiencing?

11/08/2025

Do you ever settle for less because you're lonely? Loneliness can make us thirsty for any attention, leading us to compromise. We need to know the difference between attention and affection to avoid settling for crumbs. Know who you are and what you truly want.

Are you confusing attention with genuine affection? It's easy to do, especially early on. Learn to recognize your own worth so you never settle for less than you deserve. Being seen is not the same as being valued. Value recognizes your importance and impact.

It takes a village to raise a child, indeed. But no man is an island and we need one another.

Today I'm thankful that, beyond childhood, I've been incredibly fortunate to have mentors and friends to pour into my life. My relationships and interactions have been so incredibly enriching. They have filled my cup in unimaginable ways. I can't thank them enough. So I thank God for the gifts and voices that they shared with me.

These people have tremendous wisdom, passion, dedication, knowledge, experience, patience and love for others. I would NOT be who I am without Holy Spirit and all those who He's sent to my life at various seasons to sow into me.

As a seed, I need water, food, pruning and nurturing as I produce fruit. I AM becomingHER: the woman God designed, called and sent. But I am not alone. I carry the wisdom and servants heart of my mother whose voice still speaks. I carry the energy of my father. I carry the wisdom and insight of those who have walked with me through the years.

Thank you!! Today I say thank you for sharing your life with me and imparting your confidence in me and the God in me to be and do who I am.

I'm thankful ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ for my gifts, talents and creativity because it is what allows me to engage with and serve others the way that I do.

I've embraced my uniqueness, my fingerprint, and the way I impact others.

God designed me. I'm not a fluke of nature or an accident. I am designed so that I can fulfill the assignments in the ways I'm designed. The assignments that have my name REQUIRE my gifts๐ŸŽ, talents, creativity and voice to manifest.

Knowing that God thought about me specifically, shaped me in His mind, chose me to be part of His agenda, and sent me to be on Earth ๐ŸŒŽ with YOU is amazing!๐ŸŽ‰

We get to do life together, sharing our talents, gifts and creativity to make our world better it was and ultimately, to bring the Kingdom of God to Earth!๐ŸŒŽ

There was a time when I didn't like, nor accept who I am. I didn't understand my difference. I wanted to be like other people who appeared to be cooler, accepted, and common.

Learning that my uniqueness, my difference is really my SUPERPOWER has been enlightening and also liberating.

Today I'm thankful for small wins. When we acknowledge small wins, we realize that we're moving forward and making progress.

Small wins are motivating empowering, and fortifying perspective. Sometimes, I find myself only looking at the big, overarching picture, in which case

I'm harder on myself and don't give myself grace. However, grace is a gift from God. My pastor taught us that it's God's given access to all his resources to do the work, all of the time.

So, I pat myself on the back, recognize the moves and wins that I'm having in my own growth, and thank God for His ability and access to His resources to be, do, and have ALL that I need for life and godliness.

What are you thankful for today? What small wins have you had yet not acknowledged this week, this year or today? Comment๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ

Are you holding new people accountable for the actions of those in your past? It's not fair to project past hurts onto someone who is trying to build a connection with you. They are not the same person. Heal first; then open your heart.

If you've battled depression, you know energy and peace are everything. Losing them is devastating. Protect your peace fiercely. Limit access to those who drain you or disrespect your time. It's not selfishโ€”it's self-preservation. Cancel the canceled.

These lessons were for me, but weren't necessarily my life or lifestyle. At some point, though, they became mine.

Being in relationship with toxic people drew me in to situations that were extremely chaotic and unhealthy. I HATED it there.

I CHOOSE peace every chance that I can. The toxic, chaotic, argumentative (for no reason), internal drama type of life is NOT for me.

I'm thankful for being close enough to it to know that it's not for me. I prefer peace.

When God restored my peace, I promised that I'd do everything within my power to maintain it.

Having peace isn't slow, boring, uneventful living necessarily.

It's energetic, conflict management, joy, calm after a storm and alignment where things are working together or alone, yet working nonetheless.
