I saw that registration was "waitlisted" yesterday due to high interest in this event! So, I asked for a bigger room to allow more people to join 🙂 Registration is still open!

UPDATE (05/31/25): We are getting a bigger room as the interest in this event has been amazing! Can't wait to share Funny Bunny with you! 🐰🥕

Next chance for a Funny Bunny Party is Tuesday, June 3 at the Westerville Community Center. Registration starts this weekend and is $5 for the whole family! Activities are mostly geared for those 2 - 5 years of age. Help Funny Bunny figure out the sounds he hears, practice making sounds yourself, sing songs, learn some sign language, play games, and dance if the mood strikes you 🥳🐰

Guess that means he is visiting LOTS of new homes 🥰🐰

If you're familiar with Paw Patrol this toddler speech should make sense to you (now that it's been translated into English) 🤣
"ha ha" = dog
"di di" = dig dig (construction)
"hoo hoo" = the sound a firetruck makes

Had a Funny Bunny party today! So much fun 🥕🐰🥳
Your next opportunity for an interactive, Funny Bunny storytime event is Tuesday April 15 at 6:00pm - yes, in the evening!!! I'll be at Ivybrook Academy in Gahanna. This event will be FREE and open to the public. Please be sure to mark "going" on the event - THANK YOU and see you there!

Join us this Saturday (3/15) at 10am in welcoming author Emily Ferjencik to celebrate her picture book, Funny Bunny: What’s That Sound.

This silly, interactive book for young children learning to talk is more than a fun story. It’s a toy for your child and a tool for the reader Use the embedded strategies in this book to help encourage imitation, turn-taking, gestures, responses, facial expressions, and meaningful sounds - the building blocks of communication

Emily Ferjencik, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, owner of Treehouse Speech Therapy, and children’s book author. Her first book entitled “Funny Bunny: What’s That Sound?” in an interactive story for young children learning to talk. She lives in Westerville with her husband and two bunny-loving children.

How cute is a BUNNY book in a basket?! 🐰🥕🙂

Just two weeks away... Bring your 1- or 2-year old to PLAY!
We'll use songs, books, signs, toys, parachutes, bubbles and much more to practice all the early communication skills through PLAY!
You do not need to be a Westerville resident to register. Parents, grandparents, babysitters are all welcome to join the fun 🙂
