Take a look at this year's sponsors for the 11th Annual Friend Fest! Without them, there would be no wonderful FF shirts. We are so grateful for their support! Please visit their businesses and give them a "thanks!" There is still time (through 7/25) to be a sponsor. More sponsors are needed to get to our goal to print 200 shirts again - all the info is here: https://integratecolumbus.org/outreach/

By the time people find holistic health providers and integrative wellness services, they have usually been suffering already far too long. When somebody finds one caring, reputable provider, they should find all of us! A collaborative, effective, resourceful community! Help shouldn’t be so hard to find. It shouldn’t be so taxing for people in need to put together practical, thoughtful care options We can co-create this community – stronger, wiser, more inclusive, better able to serve!
First needs are:
Create a new nonprofit organization to house the infrastructure!
Done! We successfully obtained our 501c3 (tax exempt nonprofit) status in a record 3-weeks time (and amidst the government shut down in early March 2019).
Co-create an incredible informational resource for the public!
- Create new web site full of engaging educational materials, providers and more!
- Form new email lists of clinical providers for ‘how can you all help me with...?’ inquiries as well as new email lists for outreach to central Ohio to share events, opportunities, information and build community
- Build our social media presence and email lists to share inspiration, community-wide events, information, practitioner highlights, modality knowledge, etc.
Establish Physical Locations!
- Grow the space sharing list and link together existing central Ohio providers/facilities
- Highlight established locations and offerings
- Work toward establishing a new community center facility and other needed facilities
- Begin community-building gatherings around town
Create the IT infrastructure to united the professional community!
- Allow for more efficient professional communications, better patient outcomes and the possibility of contributing to knowledge and information about integrative wellness and healthy community on a national scale.
Create new clarity around clinical ethics, best practices and professional standards. We will create ways for the professional community to network, collaborate on patient care, highlight their individual practice/expertise, learn from each other’s experiences, grow as small business owners, and drive the future of integrative options and holistic care in Ohio!
And so … please help! Central Ohio is so blessed to have such an amazing community of holistic health providers and those who rely on our services. But, we need to do a better job establishing best practice standards, educating the public, providing streamlining of care options, collaborating and monitoring patient experiences and outcomes.
It is time to make our community stronger, more intentional, better able to support one another and better equipped to serve the public.
Please consider making a financial donation of support or volunteering to help be part of the effort.
