eTMS Ohio Program

eTMS Ohio Program State-funded brain health treatment program for veterans, first responders, and law enforcement using EEG-guided TMS. Powered by JLC Services Inc.

Those not eligible may explore treatment through D2 Human Performance. Free Brain Health Program for Veterans & First Responders

The eTMS Ohio Program provides EEG-guided TMS treatment at no cost for eligible veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, and first responders. Using advanced brain mapping and personalized treatment protocols, the program helps address conditions such as:

• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Depression & Anxiety
• Sleep Disorders
• Concussion symptoms

Treatment begins with a 10-minute braincare EEG recording, which helps identify patterns in brain activity and guides a personalized treatment plan designed to support brain health and recovery. The eTMS Ohio Program is powered by JLC Services Inc. and exists to expand access to innovative brain health treatments for those who serve and protect our communities. If you are a veteran, first responder, or member of law enforcement who may benefit from the program, we encourage you to reach out.

He spent 14 years in the Air Force and over a decade in law enforcement.

By the time he found eTMS, the nightmares were coming 4–5 times a week. His sleep apnea had been undertreated for years. His headaches were constant.

After just 20 sessions — 15 minutes a day — here’s how Doug describes it:

“My headaches were gone. My sleep apnea was now being treated well because my brain waves were functioning like they should be. The nightmares? I’ve had two since November 1.”

Two. Down from four or five a week.

This isn’t luck.
This is what happens when you treat the brain — not just the symptoms.

This patient was treated through our eTMS Florida program — but the same care is available right here in Ohio.

If you’re a veteran or first responder in Ohio, you may qualify for treatment at no cost.

You're not in crisis. But something's off.
You forget things you used to remember easily.
Sleep comes, but never feels restful.
You're irritable in ways you can't explain.
The things that used to excite you — don't.
This isn't aging. This isn't weakness.
This is what a brain under chronic stress looks like from the inside.

In our data across 2,700+ patients, the average insomnia severity score at the start of treatment was 15.2 out of 28 — clinically in the "moderately severe" range. By the end, it dropped to 6.02.

The brain knows how to recover. Sometimes it just needs a map and a starting point.

That's what we do.

Every brain is wired differently.

The challenge isn't the difference — it's that most systems weren't designed to account for it.
At eTMS, care begins with a brain map. A 10-minute EEG that shows us exactly how your brain is firing, where it's struggling, and what it needs.

No assumptions. No one-size-fits-all protocol.

As Dr. Erik Won describes it: we're not looking for a perfect brain. We're looking for the best version of your brain.

That principle guides everything we do — for veterans, first responders, and families navigating neurodevelopmental challenges alike.

🎥 From the Polaris Senior Expo

We had a great time connecting with the community at the Senior Expo at Polaris Mall and sharing more about what we’re doing at eTMS Ohio.

During the event, Bryan, one of our Peer Mentors, was interviewed to talk about our program and the PTSD-focused trial we are currently conducting—highlighting how EEG-guided TMS is being explored to support those impacted by trauma.

This work is centered around education, access, and continuing to bring awareness to evolving options in brain health.

Sustainable brain health is not built in isolated phases — it is supported through ongoing monitoring, thoughtful adjustments, and continued alignment over time.

Integration may include:

• Reviewing progress regularly
• Adjusting plans as patterns shift
• Maintaining structured follow-through
• Supporting long-term stability beyond initial milestones

Resilience strengthens when care is coordinated intentionally.

First Responder Wellness Week is a reminder that brain health matters—on and off duty.

The demands placed on first responders can impact how the brain processes stress, sleep, and emotional regulation over time.

When brain activity becomes less balanced, it may show up as challenges with focus, mood, or recovery from daily stress.

At eTMS, EEG-guided insights help provide a clearer understanding of brain activity—supporting more informed conversations about how the brain may be functioning.

Because understanding the brain is often the first step toward restoring balance and improving overall wellbeing.
