SEEKING RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS!

Clarity Ohio intern, Mallory Harden, is seeking art therapists to participate in an interview research project for the Master’s thesis.

For: Thesis research exploring art therapists’ and their personal experience of mental health and how this impacts their practice.
How/When: All participants will set up an individual time for me to interview them via Zoom this summer.

Qualifications: Participants will be asked to share their personal history of mental health. All identifying information will be kept confidential.

Benefits: Help normalize the experiences of art therapists who have also been in the client’s seat, while also shedding a light on importance of having personal experience within the mental health field.

Clarity Ohio is offering a fun, free virtual meditation group every month! Our Mindful Clarity group will meet the first Thursday of every month from 7-8pm. Registration is on our website www.clarityohio.org under ‘events’.

We learn about how meditation benefits the brain, practice a guided meditation experience, and then engage in a creative response. Participants are encouraged to bring their favorite art materials with them to the group to create a brief visual response to the meditation.
Adults and teens welcome! Open to the community.
