Cornish hens ! Ohhhh yeaaaaah !

Roasting Cornish hens ! Using garlic,sage, thyme, apple wedges, orange, BUTTER (ALWAYS USE: "Kerrygold" pure Irish butter), sea salt, black pepper, potatoes, carrots, and the recipe calls for apple cider.... but I'm subtituting it with "Pomme Lambic Belgian Apple Beer". Why ? Because I ran out ...so let's see how this turns out! Shall we?

Recently I found out my thyroid has been "off track". TSH, thyroid stimulating hormone, was "high" .
So, I of course checked online for naturally improving this malady....

Sleep. B vitamins, Selenium, tyrosine, vitamin A, water, and cut back or eliminate caffeine, and exercise.

Yes, my sleep has been reduced, and I hadn't been working out because of a back strain, and my diet hasn't been the greatest (blaming holidays and "goodies", fastfood). Also, I ran out of my multivitamins, and my Advocare protein capsules.

So, bought more vitamins, ordered more protein and will improve my diet. I'll go back in a few weeks and get tested again.
LESSON: Enjoy the holidays but don't stray too far off of a healthy daily nutrition and exercise regimen.
