In 1986, the miracle balloon was born! 🎈 After being repeatedly told "no" by other business owners, Eleanor Lancey, a hospital employee, convinced O’Rourke’s Diner in Middletown, CT, tosell paper balloons bearing a hospital’s name in exchange for donations for Connecticut Children's. Nearly forty years later, in 2025, Miracle Balloon Campaigns accounted for over $86 million in donations! 💛💙
