🥰 You would never know by the smile on his face how much hard work this guy put in this week!! This highlight reel could have been much much longer!

He responded so well to the tone modulation NISE-stim settings and the Kyrios Suit which helped him with trunk stability and breaking some of that extensor tone!

Not pictured were his absolute favorite times on this swing 🥰 A big thank you to his family for their time commitment, assist during sessions and being such great advocates for him!

A well deserved round of applause for the HARD work this guy has been putting in for the last 9 months 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Let’s break down what you see and don’t see in the pic…

June 2025:
•handwriting was HARD & an aversive task
•only copying 2-3 words at a time
•needing wide ruled paper
•difficulty with letter formation, sizing, line placement and spacing
•pencil grasp was not functional leading to poor endurance and a lot of breaks
•low self-esteem and confidence

Now:
•writing up to 4 sentences in a session
•copying from a far point model
•using age appropriate paper
•improved letter formation, sizing, line placement
•using a spacing tool independently
•identifying errors while writing and self-correcting
•functional grasp on pencils with improved strength and endurance

…and most importantly ✨ increased confidence, self-esteem, lots of big smiles & proud moments!! ✨

This 3-day readiness camp is designed for incoming preschoolers and kindergarteners (ages 4–6) to build the skills they need for a smooth, successful start to the school year.

Through fun, play-based activities, your child will work on:
✂️ fine motor skills (cutting, drawing, pre-writing)
👀 visual motor skills (copying, puzzles, coordination)
🤝 social skills (following directions, peer interaction, independence)

All led by an OT with over 14 years of school-based practice in a supportive, engaging environment 💙💚

I can’t we’ve believe the week this girl has had. She has worked SO hard and been SO happy doing it. She’s working so hard on being able to crawl and so here we are breaking down the arms and legs. She is also starting to stand independently and transition into sitting independently. I could go on and on.

Very thankful for this girly and her family! 🩷💕

🥳 Happy FIRST Birthday to us! 🎈

January is officially our “birthday” month, and as we reflect on this first year of Onward Pediatric Therapies, we’re feeling so incredibly grateful — for the families who trusted us, the kids who showed up ready to try their best, and the countless small moments that turned into big wins.

Together in 2025:
• 65 children & their families arrived to our therapy clinic
• 449 individualized sessions were completed within the therapy gym
• 15 weeks of intensive therapy sessions were provided
• 17 weeks of social groups led to new friendships and new skills
• Over 100 of in-home & community-based early intervention sessions were completed
• 2 community-based partnership contracts were fulfilled to provide families greater access to therapy services
• Countless networking connections were formed
• …and more smiles, celebrations, and mastered goals than we can count!

Starting and growing a private practice has been humbling, meaningful, and deeply rewarding. Every single session has mattered so much to us. Serving children with intention, compassion, and expertise is exactly why we started this journey. 💙

Thank you to our families, referral partners, collaborators, and community for trusting us and cheering us on as we continue to grow. 🌱

🥰 We LOVE getting progress updates from our sweet families! This little guy worked SO hard during his OT & PT intensive. In just three months, he has made so much progress!

📢 Our Spring PT and OT intensive calendar is up to date! We still have spots available but don’t wait to get scheduled!

⏩ Intensives are an accelerated therapy program, where you complete OT &/or PT sessions at a higher frequency over a shorter period of time. The focused repetition results in faster skill acquisition, maximized progress, and improved functional independence.

💪🏼 OT & PT Intensives are available for 1 or 2x/day
✏️ Intensives can be completed for 1, 2, or 3 weeks in length

💙 Intensives can be completed with only one discipline or combined as a co-treat. Each intensive is tailored to your child’s individual needs and goals.
