Some risk factors for glaucoma include, getting older, being African American or Asian, or having a close relative with glaucoma. Our Story

We are an organization that provides information on Glaucoma and what you can do to prevent it, specifically in the African American community. The education of eye health is important to our communities to prevent eye loss or blindness. We want to educate our community to be mindful that you should have eye checks every year and more frequently as you age. Good eye health will allow you to remain as visual as you can during your life.
