Incorporating our shadows in love, to bring magic from the balance found in this space. Hail Lucifer! Demonolatry West Columbus is more than a Coven, it is a unique collection of practitioners of magick, who worship several demonic pantheons, recognizing the pre Judaeo/christian usage of the term demon (divine being replete with wisdom). The Coven is also compiled of individual Witches who practic
e many styles of magick, thus creating an environment that is conducive to harmony among practitioners of many paths. The bond of Coven is a bond of mutual respect, which is held to the highest degree by the demons (old Gods). It is a spiritual bond of many souls, powers, and abilities, made into one spiritual body. Worshiping and adoring together as one, the demons in all of their many forms. All members agree to protect, defend, support, uplift, and aid the success in the Craft of all other members. The bond of Coven is a sacred bond, and members maintain perfect love and perfect trust among all other members. To this end members must swiftly repair any ill circumstances between themselves and any other members as they will undoubtedly occur. Simply stated, it is a welcome environment to serious practitioners of Demonolatry and magick, that is bound in love and trust, and works to uphold one another just as family, in order to grow in power, ability, and community with one another and the Great Demons. The process of induction into the Coven requires the potential inductee to come to a Sabbat Ritual, and to watch the Coven practice. In this way the potential inductee will get a firm feel for how the Coven functions, and the Coven will get a feel for the inductee. Inductees will also be read through divination by one or more of the contract bearers of the Coven. Rituals are followed by potluck, so the potential inductee may bring a dish, and must stay afterwards during this preliminary visit in order to converse with the other members. All new inductees may only be initiated after receiving a majority vote from the Coven. The founders/contract bearers also do have the right to veto the majority rule at their discretion in any peculiar instance during which a particular potential inductee is found to be insincere in their desire, or they exhibit behavior that may be a danger to the Coven. All members are expected to have their own ritual tools to be used in Coven ritual and spell working. The tools must also be consecrated and ready for use. Assistance may be provided with this if there is enough advance given to the founders, and other members. Also attire is up to the members to possess according to the attire that best suits your own working style. There is no fee for induction, however members should equitably assist with the acquisition of materials for ritual practice. Each member may post what they are bringing to the celebrations and rituals to contribute. To us, attendance is very important. After all, we are all seeking to learn our Craft, and the Demons as deeply as we may. Therefore, absence is only acceptable during the Sabbats and Esbats in so far as there is a valid emergent purpose or unfortunate grievance. The most firm portrayal of commitment is attendance, especially in a community of serious practitioners seeking to grow individually AND together as one.
