HOSA Highlights from Nov/Dec include:
Health Science I students dissecting sheep brains, Health Science II students vision screening 5th graders at Sunny View and Saluda elementary schools, our social, and Health Science II students final hosting of Wellness Wednesday for 2025.

Congrats to Aubrey Bell for placing 3rd in the region for medical terminology and Addison Queen for placing 3rd in occupational therapy! The perfect ending to HOSA week! So proud of all of our competitors!

On Thursday, we wear red to honor those still with us because of life saving blood donations. HOSA will be hosting a blood drive TOMORROW from 10-3 at the high school! Please consider donating to support this worthy cause.

It’s HOSA Week!

HOSA Highlights for October:
1) Health Science II students visit Tryon Elementary for Wellness Wednesday. Students learned about the importance of brushing their teeth, road safety, and major bones of the skeleton along with sac races and wrapping a peer with toilet paper.
2) Health Science I students learn about different qualities of kidney function based on urinalysis with artificial urine.
3) Health Science II students earn BLS CPR certification.
4) Fundamental students head to clinical at Advent Health St Luke’s.
5) Health Science II and HOSA officers paint pumpkins with residents at White Oak Nursing Home.
