I wanted to share this with everyone, regarding an act of selflessness on my Dad's part. Greg was a registered organ donor, both in Washington State, as well as Idaho when he moved to Post Falls. Following his passing, I was contacted by SightLife, an organ donation non-profit, who informed me that my Dad was a potential candidate for corneal donation. News to myself and my family, despite my Dad having registered as an organ donor, organizations such as SightLife still required approval from his surviving family members. Neither myself nor my family wanted to dishonor my Dad's final wishes, so we elected to allow them to donate his corneas to someone who may be able to utilize them to regain their sense of sight. The photos include a letter that we received from SightLife, as well as a certificate in my Dad's name. I wanted to share that with everyone.
