Let’s talk thyroid… but not the way you’re used to 👇

Everyone jumps straight to medication when it comes to thyroid health—but what if part of the issue is nutrient deficiency?

Because your thyroid doesn’t just need medication… it needs the right building blocks to function optimally.

Let’s break it down:

✨ ZINC + SELENIUM = thyroid support powerhouses
These two are non-negotiable for proper thyroid function.
• Selenium is required to convert inactive T4 → active T3 (the hormone your body actually uses). It also protects the thyroid from oxidative stress.
• Zinc supports thyroid hormone production and helps your body actually utilize those hormones at the cellular level.

At 38, I’m more confident in my skin than I’ve ever been.

And no—I didn’t get here by spending hundreds every month on “medical grade” skincare.

So what did I do?

✨ Botox — non-negotiable.
I started at 30 as preventative maintenance. Think of it like an oil change for your face. What I did 8 years ago is the reason I don’t have deep static lines today.

LET’S TALK LABS ☀️

One of the most overlooked labs I see in patients struggling with weight loss, fatigue, thinning hair, and hormonal imbalance is Vitamin D.

I can’t tell you how many people come in with levels around 30–35 and have been told they’re “normal.”
👉 But here’s the truth: normal does not mean optimal.

Vitamin D plays a major role in:
• Metabolism & weight regulation
• Hormone balance
• Energy levels
• Immune function

And optimal levels typically fall closer to 60–80, not the bare minimum.

In fact, published literature has estimated that about 1 billion people worldwide have low vitamin D levels, making this a very common issue globally.

Nutrition in a Nutshell

I’ve had a few people ask if I can go deeper into nutrition education especially for those on a GLP1. I’m going to be honest — more information usually isn’t the answer. Implementation is.

Dietary guidance hasn’t changed in the last 100 years, but the sources of our food has.

If you’re overwhelmed, start here:

• If it comes in a bag — don’t eat it.
• If it has a shelf life longer than 30 days — don’t eat it.
• Shop the perimeter of the grocery store.

Everything you need is there:
meat, eggs, dairy, fruits, vegetables.

Skip the middle aisles. If it comes on a shelf leave it alone.

Once you’ve mastered that add:
• > 100g protein daily for females, >150g daily for males
• 8–10k steps a day
• Strength training 2–3x per week
• Drink your water

Exercise is equally as simple…

Progressive overload aka do a little more than you did yesterday.

There’s no magic diet.
No secret protocol.

Eat clean. Move daily. Drink water. Spend time in the sun. And start where you are.

And for what it’s worth…I haven’t met a single middle aged female gym rat that doesn’t have an unhealthy obsession with Diet Coke. We all have our vices 😆
