Parents of 7th graders, Juniors, and Seniors! Stop by Carevide School-Based at CISD Monday from 4–6 PM and get upcoming required school and college vaccines done early with evening hours that fit your schedule. No need to take time off work or pull your student out of class!

We welcome private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP. For our uninsured or underinsured neighbors, we offer a sliding fee discount to keep health care affordable based on your family size and income.

Our School-Based Health Center is now open to Commerce ISD staff for their health care needs!

🩺🐯 Big news for our Tiger staff!

We’re excited to share that all CISD staff, including substitutes, are now eligible for treatment at our Carevide School-Based Commerce clinic located in the F.A.C.E. Center.

An amendment to make this possible was finalized last week with 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬, and we want to give a big thank you to 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐨𝐧 and 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫 for helping make this happen. 👏

Our goal is to provide another convenient option for staff to receive care when illness strikes during the workday. Because when we take care of our people, they can continue taking care of our students. 🧡

🌷 Spring is blooming, and so are seasonal allergies. 🤧

If your child is having irritating nose and eye symptoms, breathing difficulties or skin allergies, consider these tips:
💡 Stay informed: Check local pollen forecasts regularly so you can plan outdoor activities when pollen levels are lower.
🌿 Limit exposure: Reduce contact with allergens by keeping windows closed during high pollen days and limiting time outdoors when counts are at their peak.
💨 Use air purifiers: Running an air purifier at home can help remove pollen and other allergens from the air.
💊 Take medications as directed: Over-the-counter allergy medications, such as antihistamines or nasal sprays, may help manage symptoms. Follow directions or talk with a provider about what’s best for your child.
👩‍⚕️ Visit your healthcare provider: If allergy symptoms persist or worsen, schedule an appointment with your child's healthcare provider to discuss treatment options and long-term relief.
