MARK YOUR CALENDARS! EAA has endorsed National Microtia and Atresia Awareness Day on November 9th, 2021. EAA, along with the Ear Community (https://earcommunity.org/), would like to raise awareness of Microtia and Atresia to help promote public education along with the hope that future generations of families will leave the hospital equipped with more answers than questions and their dreams for their child intact. Through the national awareness day, the Ear Community hopes children and adults born with Microtia and Aural Atresia know they are not alone and that they are also beautiful and perfect in every way. It has always been the Ear Community's mission to educate on all options so each one of our children and adults can be informed to make the best decisions that will lead them to living the happiest lives.
