Wellllllll..... it's not always good news. My latest CT scan showed multiple new tumors. I asked how many - he said they didn't count them all. Not good. Getting some tumor testing done to see if there's something out there I can take. Have been on 7 different kinds of chemo and for different reasons cannot do them again. If all else fails, moving to Maryland for a while to do Cannabis therapy. Way too many good stories from people I know personally to rule this one out! On the bright side, down another pound. lol. I wasn't going to weigh myself, but I love seeing the scale going down. Ain't gonna lie!

Today is the first day I needed a winter coat. I've been wearing sweaters up until now. I have a beautiful and very warm coat my daughter gave me last year, but it was too tight :( I tried it on this morning and it fit perfectly! THAT was a great feeling!!

Post #2: So the no-diet diet is working! lol. I hit a goal yesterday that I never thought I would see. Down 50 since this fall! Over 80 from my highest. I'm not sure I am going to keep this FB page. May switch to a blog.

Post #1 for 2019. If you know me at all, you know I've tried to lose weight my entire adult life. That effort accelerated when I got a cancer diagnosis. Up and down a lot with the numbers. It seemed that every article/book/TV program/podcast I listened to that said one thing about what to do to lose weight, there was another that said the opposite. My own doctors gave conflicting advice. Several months ago I decided that 50 years of trying and failing pretty much showed me it wasn't possible. I was just going to try to be as healthy as I could be and not stress about it. I STOPPED dieting. So you can imagine my surprise when I went to see my doctor last week and I was down 45 pounds! if I combine that with weight I took off (and kept off) several years ago, I'm down 79 total!! Go figure.

I know you haven't heard from me for wayyyy too long. To be honest, I was quite sick and discouraged for months and, yes, depressed for quite a while. Things started to turn around for me a few months ago and I'm feeling a lot better physically and emotionally. So my intention is to use this page to keep you updated on my progress with cancer and general healthy living, and to share articles and other helpful posts and information. If you care to come along for the ride, I'd love the company. Here's to a healthier and happier 2019 for us all!
