Last weekend we held our Jeanna Martin Memorial Co-ed Volleyball Tournament. This marks the 38th year of hosting this tournament (would be #40, but darn covid). Just when I think this tournament will start slowing down, we had a record 34 teams and I had to turn about 4 teams away (which i HATE doing). Overall, it was another long, fun day of some GREAT and INTERESTING Volleyball. 😆 🤣 The scholarships will be announced and handed out at the Senior Awards Assembly on May 6th at 10am. A huge shout-out to everyone that participated, my Martin family and friends who helped, and my husband for the amazing pulled pork. We never would've imagined we'd still be going all these years later.

Master schedule with team captains.
Please take note that the High School is on a slightly different time frame (15 minutes). Do NOT go by time after the 930am matches. We'll move as quickly as we can.

Everyone will play 3 matches then go to a single elimination tournament. Tournament will start roughly around 2:45 for all levels

The schedule is FINALLY done. That was A LOT harder than I expected. All captains have been notified by text or messenger. I will post the full schedule on here soon. All doors will be open by 7:20am. Only 5 minute warm-ups and please start early if you can. We have 82 matches scheduled between 4 gyms and 6 courts. Cost is $100/team. Ill try to find captains before your first match. You can pay through venmo, cash or check (make checks to Jeanna Martin Memorial).

Easter egg hunt is at 10am in the City Park. It is from ages 1-11. It will literally last 3 minutes, but you can visit tge bunny afterwards.

Concessions will be located at the middle school. Starting at 9am with some breakfast, snacks and drinks. Lunch will begin at 11am. Pulled pork, pulled pork nachos, nachos, and hot dogs. Desserts, drinks, and other snacks too.

Our town also offers Gambino's Pizza, Stock Tank bar and grill, and Red Power Nutrition....all located near or on Main Street.

We're excited to see you all on Saturday for our 37th (i think) year. What a run!!!!

Full schedule. We've allotted 45 minutes for each recreational match. Intermediate and competitive have 1 hour since they are playing 3 full sets.

Easter Egg 🐰 in the park at 10am. There are sections for age groups and over 1600 eggs filled with candy. Even a visit with the bunny is possible.

Concession stand will be at the middle school. Lunch starting at 10:30/11:00. Pulled pork, pulled pork nachos, hot dogs, etc.

We also have 3 other food establishments.
Daily Scoop-breakfast, desserts and ice cream.
Gambino's-Pizza, wings, sandwiches
Stock Tank-beer, burgers, etc

Captains please grab your packets when you first arrive.

After SEVERAL request changes, schedules are finally DONE!!!! Captains have been notified as to when and where your first match is. Full schedules will be posted on this page soon as well as other information for the day.

Competitive (9 teams) & Intermediate (7 teams):
You will play 2 matches for your "pool play" round. It will consist of 3 sets to 25 with a cap of 27 to keep time going. No more than 5 minutes for warm-up to keep on time. All teams will advance to a single elimination bracket. Competitive will be in the high school and Intermediate will be "mostly" at the St Joseph gym just down the street. Finals are tentatively set for 5:00pm. WOW!!!

Recreational:
There are 14 teams, so please don't be late to keep the day going. I made sure those who wanted off for the Easter Egg hunt are off. You will play 2 sets to 25 with a cap of 27 during "pool play." All teams will advance to a single elimination tournament. Finals are tentatively set for 5:30pm. WOW!!!!

Easter Egg hunt is at 10am.
Doors for all facilities will be open by 8am if not sooner.
If you are in need of players, please don't hesitate to text me (316-640-4096). I'm sure I could find a few. Don't be late, have fun and remember the reason for this tournament. We're almost 40 years in the making!!!!

If you'd like to pay ahead of time, you can venmo me. Cost is $100/team. Otherwise, you can pay the day of the tournament by cash, check or venmo.

Please double check these lists to make sure I have everyone down for a team. Years past we've had duplicate captains register the same team. So, we'll check this first before I start on the schedule.

Captains-please make sure you're on the list under the correct division. Also, comment below if you NEED a late start time or if you would "like" to have off during the Easter Egg hunt at 10am. Nothing is guaranteed, but I always try my best to accommodate.

Intermediate teams, you will most likely be playing at 8am bc we have more in that division this year. But, I'll try to accommodate if needed.

More info will come out in the next few weeks. Please have your team like our page for those updates. This tournament has been going on for almost 40 years!!! If you're new, WELCOME!!! Our small town has a lot to offer, especially that day.

Don't forget, Brian will be cooking up his pulled pork for lunch n dinner in the concession stand again thos year. Pulled pork sandwiches, nachos and more. Ill post more about the concession stand when it gets closer.
