Interesting facts: lab work edition
Did you know that we draw all of our own labs?
1. We offer all of the prenatal labs including genetic testing.
2. We have OPTIONS for the glucose test. Most of our clients choose The Fresh Test and say it tastes like lemonade.
3. We encourage clients to swab themselves. You don’t need stirrups and a speculum to test for GBS.
4. We use your lab results to individualize a care plan just for you. We may recommend specific foods, supplements, or additional monitoring.

We have exciting news!
Chloe will be relocating to Summerville later this year and starting her own practice Flowertown Home Birth - give her a follow. This area is in great need of more midwives and we are so proud of Chloe for stepping up to serve there. We will miss her but never fear, Amanda will be stepping into her role later this year. More midwives means greater access to midwifery care!

Midwifery is a calling

Becoming a midwife was not even on my radar when my friend who was a homebirth midwife asked me if I wanted to be a midwife. She invited me to a homebirth and my life changed forever. It was the most amazing thing I had ever been a part of and I realized my life calling. Caring for women and babies in their own homes during this special and vulnerable time in their lives is my passion. From the very first birth until now, it is a joy and a privilege to serve families through midwifery.
