Many have asked what was wrong with the old covenant. The answer: No matter what we did, we could never achieve not sinning. The priesthood taught us this, by the Hebrews always having to confess their sins, make a sacrifice, and then keep doing it the next day and the next.

This is why Jesus HAD to come! He worked to have the hearts of men change, so it would be a permanent change and not a temporary one! All change must start from within and God knew this was the ONLY way for us to be in direct relationship with Him.

Jesus is calling all of us! Will you answer the call, to make that inward change and follow Him? The freedom you feel in being obedient to His will is like nothing else.

Happy Monday!!!

How faithful are you in the little things? Do you faithfully brush your teeth, open your blinds / curtains in the morning, or what about making your bed?

These may seem like little things, but these little things show your faithfulness and dedication to re-occurring tasks everyday! Because of your faithfulness in the little things, the Bible tells us that we also have faithfulness in much bigger things: work, school, family, paying bills on time, studying the Word of God; the list could go on!

He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

Luke 16:10 NKJV

How diligent are you with staying in God’s word day in and day out? Staying close to Him keeps us grounded and rooted in Him. God and His word is more at the forefront of our brain and helps us to govern our actions and conduct accordingly when His words are constantly whispering in our ears.

I challenge you this week to do a week long devotional and see how your week changes for the better!

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8 NKJV

Happy Friday Jr.!

How are you resisting the devil and staying true to your faith and being an active Christ follower? The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, to stay in His word so that the Holy Spirit can cause a transformation in our lives.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
