Although ONLY I-Love-Yous! is about bedtime struggles, it is not necessarily a bedtime story. When you first read this book with children, choose a time earlier in the day. Children often voice their worries just before bed, after the fast-paced day is done. Gather these worries, read this story, and then talk, play, and create with the activities suggested on the last page. Think of this book as a garden tool as you continuously plant seeds to help your child grow lifelong coping skills for any type of stressor.
