Pink flamingos are a beloved, kitschy symbol of Airstream culture, representing fun, relaxation, and a touch of ironic humor on the road. Originating from 1950s Americana, these plastic lawn ornaments signify a welcoming, vibrant community, with travelers often “flamingoing” (gifting) neighbors to show appreciation or make new friends.

I have spent extensive time looking for the exactly right practice management system to run my business. I landed on Core Practice, which is actually based in Australia. The SUPER fun thing is that my clinic is their first U.S. based office! 🤗

It’s been super cool navigating with the Aussies the differences between there and here, down to simple verbiage in the software. Today’s meeting, the CEO of the company expressed his appreciation and excitement having me help them navigate and make the necessary changes for US use. Yours truly is one-on-one fine tuning this software to be primo in America. 💅🏻 In boss man’s gratitude, he offered me his tech team to do my online marketing in exchange for essentially growing his consumer base. Fire 🔥

It’s things like this that repeatedly keep occurring and validating my goals and dreams! Sooo amazing! Look out y’all, I’m coming out HOT! Launch is right around the corner!! 🙌🏼

I’m so stoked! The amazing fabricated a door panel and installed my original vintage Bargman door handle on my Airstream! 🙌🏼 This was a huge step that I wasn’t exactly sure how I was going to achieve, but the universe delivered a miracle to The Cloud with just the skills I needed!! Thank you Devin!!!

🦷 Is your DENTIST doing your teeth cleaning?! 🚫

Allow me to explain why this is problematic. Every dental office knows that hygiene appointments are the “bread and butter” of the practice. Patients return regularly to get their teeth cleaned, treatment scheduling isn’t guaranteed unless a problem is found during the doctor exam. Here lies the problem- dentists are trained to do the treatment. The blip of time in school that dentists preform cleanings is minimal. Too often I see patients who have been getting cleanings by their dentist and then I see them with full on periodontal disease as a result of subpar cleanings. The dentist focus is treatment, not prevention; bottom line.
Dental hygienist are trained in prevention and oral health. Dental cleanings ARE OUR SPECIALTY.

I highly encourage keeping your dental cleanings with the appropriate specialist. 👌🏼🪥🦷✨

✨Progress Update: I refinished the tub/bench/sink surfaces in the bathroom, then I painted the upper portion giving the bathroom a fun bright feel. I built a slide bench over the wheel well that doubles as a bed frame if I need. 🛏️ I built my cabinets, though I’m still working on the doors and shelving. I have one partition wall in place… mapping the curve is not easy!!
It’s coming along and it’s fun and challenging and time consuming! I’m pushing hard with every free moment I have, navigating the now rainy weather, and working on the administrative aspects all the while. 😮‍💨🥴

Ok…. Obviously you can see the portion I polished up top there. What’s disheartening is that I also polished the section below it. 😣 The prior owner had maybe took a grinder or sander to it?? I’m not sure if I can buff out the damage that was done in a few areas. Not to mention that polishing for a couple hours just wears hard on my elbows and hands. I’m borderline arthritic from years of dentistry as is, my hands aren’t as strong as they once were. Ughhh…it’s frustrating.

I began gutting this ol gal in May, floors were ripped out by June…. Today marks a MASSIVE step in progress with this renovation!! 🙌🏼 It’s amazing how clean it looks with a little vinyl!! Now the fun fun begins!!
