Sunny Love Learning Center provides a quality learning experience for children of all ages at a discounted price. We continue to keep families first as this pandemic has plagued us all.
To date, 33 million people have filed for unemployment. This number is equivalent to the numbers of the Great Depression! Small businesses have suffered, tremendously-and what has not been the focus are the small businesses that started in 2020 and DOES NOT qualify for any of the CARES ACT or PPP stimulus funds. Once a dream has now become a nightmare for some because they have had to close before they were ever able to see their dreams come to fruition.
Sunny Love Learning Center is one of the those new businesses that DO NOT qualify for any of the stimulus funding, but we continue to beat the odds. We have staff that have held on when our enrollment was at zero and are continuing to provide the quality care that our community needs as an added reassurance and peace of mind that their children are safe as we fight many personal trials (family members diagnosed with COVID 19, spouses losing employment to name a few) and a virus that has changed our daily lives. Summer camps and activities away from the center have been eliminated to minimize children's and staff exposure to COVID 19, and while that is an additional bummer-staff are getting creative and planning out summer fun right here at the center.
To add to the many changes Sunny Love Learning Center staff has had to adapt to, new minimum standards were passed down from Governor Abbott on May 18th, stating classroom ratios have been reduced and cleaning/sanitation standards have been elevated, which in turn equates to the need of additional staff to maintain regulations.
Why the long post? Well to sum things up, Sunny Love Learning Center needs your help! In order for us to keep up with the changes, we have applied for a grant offered by NAV financial services which will allow us to continue to provide a safe and productive learning environment. With this funding, will we be able to purchase needed supplies for our summer camp, additional cleaning and sanitation supplies (the cost of these items have skyrocketed!!!) and hire additional staff. We would like to maintain our low tuition fees so we can continue to serve our families in need.
We are asking that you like/love this status and share it. We are in the running for a $10,000 grant from NAV financial services and the more likes/love and shares we receive, the higher the chance we will be the WINNER! So PLEASE stand with us as we continue to be here for our community and provide a safe learning environment for ALL! Nav
Thank you!!!
