Join us for our cooking chemistry GBM with Dr. Knecht next Monday in the Wellness Center Kitchen! We will be making enchiladas and pumpkin cookies🙌🏽

How to get there: The Wellness Center Kitchen is located on the second floor of the Wellness Center. It is accessible by the indoor first-floor staircase in the center of the entrance, as well as by the elevators located in the back right of the first floor. Once exiting the elevator, turn right, then left, and finally make a right and enter the first doors on your left. Take a right and the rooms will be on your left.

We are so excited to be back for the fall semester! Please join us for our first general body next Monday at 6:15 PM in Whitten UC 2300A. We will be introducing our executive board and we will be making vision boards 🖼️

How to get there: UC 2300A is located on the second floor of the Whitten University Center, which is the building where the Campus Bookstore and the breezeway are. You can take the elevator from the breezeway up to the second floor and UC 2300A (a conference room) will be to your left.

Interested in getting more involved in oSTEM? Want to make change for LGBTQ+ professionals across the U? Run for our 2024-2025 Executive Board!

Elections will take place on April 1st, from 8-9pm, in Whitten UC 2300A.

Open Positions:
President (1 year on E-board req.)
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
PR/Outreach Chair
Events Chair

Must attend Elections in-person.
Prepare a speech (3 mins or less) for all positions you intend to run for.
Voting will start at President and continue down the positions. If you do not win a position, you can roll down and run for a lower position. You will have to give another speech for each position you run for.
Send any questions or concerns to ostem@miami.edu prior to elections.

Must attend Elections in-person in order to vote.
Anyone who has attended an oSTEM meeting during the 2023-2024 academic year is eligible to vote.
Voting will be completely anonymous.

Whitten UC 2300A Accessibility Information:
The Whitten University Center is located across from the Bookstore and the Food Court.

Room 2300A is accessible by the indoor first-floor staircase next to Tacos & Tattoos, as well as by the elevators located in-between The Market and the Bookstore.
