If you’ve been doing all the “right things” and the weight still won’t come off, the issue might be hormonal, not willpower. Where you store fat actually gives clues about what’s happening inside your body.

Belly fat? Could be stress or insulin resistance
Hips and thighs? That’s often estrogen imbalance
Upper arms or back? Possibly low testosterone or inflammation

This is why one-size-fits-all diets don’t work for everyone.

Comment “weightloss” for a consultation about your options. Let’s figure out what’s going on underneath the surface, together.

Itchy doesn’t always mean yeast.
And fishy doesn’t always mean an STD.
BV and yeast infections are two totally different things, but they’re often mistaken for each other. Your va**na deserves facts, not guesswork.

Save this for later and book an appointment if your symptoms don’t improve or keep coming back.

We treat the real issue, not just cover it up.

You’re not just tired.
You’re not just unmotivated.
And no, this isn’t just because you’re “getting older.”
If you’ve been dragging through the day, craving sugar, or crashing after meals… it might be more than burnout. It could be pre-diabetes, and many people don’t even know they have it.

Book a consultation and get a plan tailored to your labs.
What would having more energy every day really change for you?

🌞🌞🌞SUMMER IS HERE🌞🌞🌞

July is UV Awareness Month 😎

It is extremely important that you protect yourself from skin cancer.

Most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. UV rays are an invisible kind of radiation that comes from the sun, tanning beds, and sunlamps. UV rays can damage skin cells.

✅️ Wear appropriate sunscreen products
✅️ Wear shades 😎 to protect your eyes
✅️ Protect your feet from hot surfaces and wet floors
✅️ Shower before and after usage of sunscreen pills and lotions.
✅️ Stay hydrated and hydrate your skin after your shower at the end of day.

For the most protection, wear a hat that has a brim all the way around that shades your face, your ears, and the back of your neck. A tightly woven fabric, such as canvas, works best to protect your skin from UV rays. Avoid straw hats with holes that let sunlight through. A darker hat may offer more UV protection.

If you wear a baseball cap, you should also protect your ears and the back of your neck by wearing clothing that covers those areas, using sunscreen, or staying in the shade.

Have fun! 🌞👒👙🥽🩳

June 19th is known as World Sickle Cell Day

In honor of one of my best friends .81 who is a warrior, I bring awareness to the importance of always knowing your health status and knowing your family health history.

Sickle cell disease affects approximately 100,000 Americans, many of whom are African American, and more than 20 million people worldwide.

Sickle cell disease — also called sickle cell anemia — is a group of inherited disorders that affect hemoglobin , the major protein that carries oxygen in red blood cells. Normally, red blood cells are disc-shaped and flexible so they can move easily through the blood vessels. In sickle cell disease, red blood cells are misshaped, typically crescent- or “sickle”-shaped due to a gene mutation that affects the hemoglobin molecule. When red blood cells sickle, they do not bend or move easily and can block blood flow to the rest of the body.

Keep up with your lab results and blood work to help identify any abnormalities as soon as possible.

MEN NEED TO BE SUPPORTED

JUNE is Men's Mental Health Month

Men face unique challenges and barriers that are often not discussed because they feel they either don't have the support they need or will be considered weak for having such feelings.

Tragically, men are nearly four times more likely to die by su***de than women. And less likely to seek therapy than women.

SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE

Men, if you feel like your friends will think you're weak for crying or feeling sad about something or someone you really care about..... find some new friends.

If you cannot communicate with your partner honestly and openly about how you really feel and receive a fair understanding..... seek therapy.

Never choose to silence yourself just because others can't comprehend you. Your MENTAL HEALTH MATTER.
