For many Generation Xers, the news hit us with a sadness similar to losing a close family member or friend. ๐ It is an untimely passing and unimaginable loss for all of us who enjoyed him as the only brother on the beloved 80's sitcom "The Cosby Show". Theodore (Theo) Aloysius Huxtable was a "thinker" with a big smile who seemed to adore his family. As I reflect back to that time, life was different, and this show made a huge difference in many of our lives. I didn't follow his TV career much after the show ended, but I later became interested in his spoken words and dialogue with the culture. More recently, I remember scrolling on Netflix one day for a good TV watch and came across the series "The Resident". I immediately got hooked and would binge-watch for hours! Dr. AJ played his role on that show just as Theo had played his in the 80's, superbly! We will never truly understand why tragedy seems to happen to the "good ones", but in my mind, I would like to think that it's because at times a person can leave such a bold, bright, and wonderful legacy so soon, that the work on earth is done. To the family, friends, and everyone grieving the loss of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, you have my sincere condolences ๐๐พ RIP..... ๐
