Recently, our good friend Mike passed away. He will be greatly missed.

His family chose to honor his memory by offering that people could donate to Wounded Warrior Project or Derek’s ALS Army.

This was such a sweet gesture. However, we don’t have a means to accept donations at this time, so if inclined feel free to donate to one of our favorite organizations in Mike’s memory (Bridging Voice or CCALS).

Over 6,000 flags lined the lawn in Washington, DC for the 2026 I AM ALS Flag Display — each one representing a person living with or lost to ALS. One of those flags was mine💙

Seeing it among thousands of others is a powerful reminder that ALS is bigger than any one story — it touches families everywhere and shows how much awareness is still needed!

I had the privilege last week of doing something, federal advocacy.
The goal is to renew and fully fund the Act for ALS. I have included the link to the bill information. The Congressional hearing is tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.
