Dr. Lisa Stowell, a 1996 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College, LA, California holds an AA Degree in Liberal Arts, and is continually furthering her backround in nutritional expertise. Dr. Stowell worked as an associate for a few years until finally opening her own practice: The Holistic Wellness Center in Downtown Fullerton. She successfully ran this practice for the next nine years prior to moving to Costa Rica and then to Singapore for some overseas experience in her same career field. She now looks forward to a long and permenant stay in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Stowell is very proficient in many techniques including: Divsified, NeuroEmotional Technique (NET), Directional Non-Force Technique (DNFT), Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), and her primary protocol, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) which includes "Crainals" for balancing the bones and muscles of the face and scalp. She has utilized all of these chiropractic techniques on thousands of patients throughout the last 20+ years with tremendous success. Dr. Stowell’s patient base throughout the years has ranged from very young infants to the elderly ~ in their 90's. Dr. Stowell’s strengths: Yoga, which allows the body better range of motion for added benefits in many extra curricular activities. When the body is stiff and rigid, this leads to decreased diaphragmatic function. Along with regular chiropractic treatments to realign the spine, yoga also enhances the bodys range of motion, flexibility and overall general health and wellness by allowing the mind and body to unite and work together, thereby relieving stress and the degenerative process of the body. Salsa dancing is also one of her favorite past times as well as relaxing on the beach and taking walks anywhere nature invites.
