Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, selflessness, and service gave us the freedoms we cherish every day.

⚠️ FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING ⚠️

Corpus Christi and all of South Texas remain under a Flood Watch as periods of heavy rain continue through the week and into the weekend.

🌧 Expected rainfall totals:
• 2–4 inches across the region
• Isolated areas could receive up to 6 inches

🚨 Flooding may occur in:
• Low-lying and flood-prone areas
• Streets with poor drainage
• Creeks, streams, and rivers that could rise quickly

Please use caution while traveling and avoid driving through flooded roadways. Stay weather aware, monitor local forecasts, and be prepared to take action if Flood Warnings are issued.
