We are launching a new workshop specifically designed for girls ages 9-13 to attend with an adult!
Registration includes: 1 girl, 1 adult and you will receive a reusable "Period Kit" supply bag, full of supplies, to take home.
Dr. Martinique Kling, board certified OBGYN and owner of Compassionate Gynecology in Fenton, MI, will be joining us for an informative session on puberty for girls.
Growing up brings a lot of changes — and many girls (and parents!) have questions. Our Puberty Workshop for Girls is a supportive, age-appropriate class designed to help girls understand their bodies, feel confident, and know what to expect during puberty.
This 90-minute interactive workshop is led by a healthcare professional and is designed for girls ages 9–13. Each child attends with one trusted adult to encourage open communication and shared learning.
What we’ll cover:
What puberty is and why it happens
What a period is and what to expect
How to manage periods at school and at home
Basic hygiene and self-care
Hands-on learning:
Girls will get to see and learn about different feminine products
Pads and panty liners
Tampons
Period underwear
How and when to use each option
We create a comfortable, respectful environment where all questions are welcome. There will be dedicated time for Q&A so girls and parents can ask anything — no topic is off-limits.

This workshop focuses on education, empowerment, and building a positive relationship with their changing body.
