Happening Today! 🎉
Join us at the Lake Oswego Library at 2pm for a family-friendly community preparedness event!
All welcome to join this free event in-person or in the livestream.
We're heading to Lake Oswego! 🌲🔥
Join us on Saturday, April 18th, from 2–4 pm at the Lake Oswego Public Library for Climate, Hazards, and Resilience Foundations — a free, community event focused on what's happening with hazard risk in Oregon and what you can do about it.
This year's wildfire season is shaping up to be a significant one, and we'll be breaking down what that means for your family and community, and more importantly, making preparedness easier with tools, tips, and neighbors.
Whether you're a parent trying to figure out how to talk to your kids about wildfire and climate hazards, a teacher looking for real tools to support your students and school community, or just a community member who wants to feel more prepared, this one's for you!
Ginny Katz, MPH, Oregon-based hazard and community resilience expert and founder of HazAdapt, Inc., will be co-presenting alongside Breck Foster, MEd, Social Studies teacher at Lake Oswego High School and Oregon State Lead for SubjectToClimate.
📅 Saturday, April 18, 2026 🕑 2:00pm – 4:00pm
📍 Lake Oswego Public Library, 706 4th St, Lake Oswego, OR
🎟️ Free and open to all, no sign-up required
