Teaching for the eighth month. What is prana? It is the life force. Chi, energy, power… The Pranic field is the great cosmic womb from which all things are born. This field sustained life. It flows through us, it gives and takes, Life and death. All healing comes from this domain. You have your own pranic body; like the battery you are born with you can care for your prana, not so that you live longer, but that you live well! And when it’s time for us to die, our prana will help us push through to the other side.

Time for a mental detox. I’ve built up a bit of psychological baggage over the last year with the shock of transitioning (not to mention just living in the USA there’s a natural mental strain). Plus… moving back to the town where I was a teenager has brought up some oooolllld stuff. So we are arming up for next level.

And… I love it. I love working with the mind, because for all its distortion and wily essence… we can use it to unlock the gates to heaven.

My name is Fateh Prem. It means the victory is God’s Love.
There was a make or break point in my life 13 years ago when I chose to do difficult yoga practices every day instead of self-destruct. I held my arms above my head and chanted for 31 minutes instead of crumbling on the floor in a puddle of pain and despair.

Finding Kundalini Yoga was a miracle; by definition of my will and prayer meeting the Higher Will’s compassion for me.

All these years I’ve known that Kundalini Yoga healed me, continues to heal me. I never felt the need to prove it.

Then my girl Dana .keepers.apothecary kept talking about the research on how Kundalini Yoga heals the brain and grows grey matter. I’m like….”yeah yeah I know….”. Then I saw the images of the brain before and after the meditations and it made my heart sing. I got to see the spiritual phenomenon… the woo woo… the weird stuff I did doing what we knew it did, in a real, measurable, visible, practical way.

We can heal our brains. We can heal our nervous systems. We are not victims of our wrong thinking, our past, our emotions. We can light up the dark spaces (parts of the brain not firing).
