When food is no longer real, you can't let your guard down. Here is a list of companies producing GMO food-like substances from milk or eggs created synthetically in a lab. The fake dairy and fake eggs are unique and different enough to be patented, yet there is no premarket safety testing and no GMO labeling is required. The technology used to produce this stuff is an extreme form of genetic engineering called "synthetic biology" or "synbio". The companies producing it are trying to trick you into thinking it's a natural process by calling it "precision fermentation." But it's not so precise after all. Scientist John Fagan, PhD, found 92 unknown compounds in the "synthetic milk" that need to be studied for food safety reasons, notably by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is yet another corporate attempt to use Americans as their lab rats. NO THANK YOU.

FUN FACT: Pygmy marmosets are the world's smallest monkeys - head to toe, only up to 6 inches. So cute! ❤🐒❤ But they can leap up to 16 feet in between branches! They live only in rainforests. And they're also a Threatened Species. Why? SAD FACT: The rainforests are being cut down for the expansion of industrial GMO soy farms. This deforestation is harming these cute little monkeys and many more wonderful creatures. The GMO soy goes to feed animals in factory farms, but also goes into ultra-processed foods like the Impossible Burger. So don't be fooled by Impossible Foods' corporate greenwashing. Their ultra-processed GMO plant-based beef, meatballs, sausages, and other products are neither good for your health, nor good for the animals in the rainforests.

Only non-gmo salmon if you’re going to eat it!

Boycott AquaBounty GMO salmon: A new Norwegian Food Safety Authority report summed up 10 years of study on sterile triploid salmon. The report stated that triploid salmon suffer from a range of health problems which makes them "unsuitable for commercial farming under current industry conditions." The report authors found that triploid salmon are more prone to malformations in the skeleton and heart, as well as more likely to develop cataracts and skin ulcers. Through both direct observation and field data, the researchers also established that triploid fish are more susceptible to infections such as infectious salmon anemia (ILA) virus and bacterial wound infection from the bacterium Moritella viscosa. On the welfare front, triploid salmon are also less tolerant to stress and handling, the researchers found, as well as less robust to higher water temperatures than traditional salmon.

AquaBounty's genetically engineered "AquAdvantage" salmon is a triploid salmon, currently being sold in the United States. AquaBounty has been selling to restaurants and hotels, maybe even schools, where those businesses are pushing unlabeled GMO salmon onto unsuspecting customers. Since AquaBounty’s frankenfish are farm-raised, the way to boycott GMO fish is to boycott farmed-raised fish. Buy only wild-caught.
