Today is World Su***de Prevention Day❤️‍🩹

Su***de is the second leading cause of death among young people aged 10-14, and the third leading cause among 15-24 year olds (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

Men die by su***de nearly 4X more than women.

LGBTQ+ young people are 4x more likely to attempt than their peers.

Meet Monday: Meet Jessalyn Fehrman!

Jessalyn is a part-time clinician with OFCC. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2020. She primarily works with adolescents and families. Jessalyn provides services to the Coshocton Alternative School when it is in session. When she is not working, Jessalyn and her spouse have a blended family with six children. Jessalyn can be found chasing her kids around ball fields, dance studios, or anywhere in between.

Meet Jody McCarthy! Jodi has 18 years’ experience with children and adolescents ages 5-18, teaching and mentoring in private school and community settings. Jodi is currently an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist and serves as Chief Clinical Officer of Operations for OFC&C.
Jodi obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2012 and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University in 2015. After working part-time for a year, Jodi became full-time with OFCC in August of 2020. Jodi has been trained in Integrative Family and Systems Treatment and has experience working with youth with problematic s*xual behavior. Jodi is active with her church and family. She serves as Treasurer for Coshocton CARES.

Meet Monday: Meet Paul Sipe!

Paul is a Qualified Mental Health Specialist and Therapeutic Support Specialist. Paul joined the OFCC team in 2023. Previously, Paul worked at a Secure Treatment Facility with juveniles for twelve years. Prior to moving to Ohio, Paul lived in Pennsylvania. Paul meets clients where they are and helps them navigate difficult family and community interactions. He likes to laugh and have fun, and also knows when it is time to get down to business. When not working you can find Paul working out, hunting, working around his house and yard, or tending to his chickens.

Meet Monday: Mindy Fehrman!
Mindy works part-time at OFCC and is our billing specialist. She also conducts CANS assessments and other administrative tasks. Having in worked in social services for over 30 years, she retired in 2017. In addition to her work at OFCC, Mindy consults for the Ohio START program and enjoys as much time as possible with her family, including seven grandchildren.

Meet Monday: Meet David Grove!
Dave is a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Supervisor designation and a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family therapist in the State of Ohio. In addition to his licenses, Mr. Grove is also a Supervisory member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Since 2000, Dave has been a principal developer and trainer of Integrated Family and Systems Treatment (IFAST). As a principal trainer of I-FAST, Dave has trained seven different mental health and social service agencies in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
Since 1997, Dave has been an instructor for The College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. Dave has also published numerous articles and books in the field of mental health and family therapy.

Meet Monday: Meet Lynsey Stonebraker!

Lysney completed an internship with OFCC in 2023 and joined the staff in 2024. Lynsey serves as a case manager and facilitates several groups at OFCC. Lynsey graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with her bachelor's degree in psychology in 2024. We are excited to see where the future leads Lynsey in her career! Lynsey is engaged and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Meet Monday: Justin Addy!

Justin is a lifelong resident of Coshocton County and works as our Office Manager. Justin is dedicated to his family, friends, church family, and community. He is a member of Keene United Methodist Church where he plays the keyboard for the choir and Sunday morning service. Justin enjoys bowling and is involved with several leagues at Legacy Lanes. He has always appreciated being part of a small community where friends and neighbors genuinely care for one another. Justin works hard to provide an environment that is welcoming and provides comfort for those who come into the office.

Meet Monday: Meet Crystal Sipe!

Crystal is a Licenced Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor. She obtained her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling Degree at Shippensburg University. Prior to moving to Ohio, Crystal lived in Pennsylvania. She worked at a Secure Treatment Facility with juvenile firesetters and s*x offenders for nine years. Crystal then moved to working at a school and community based program due to wanting to work with troubled youth prior to them coming to a facility. Crystal works part time at OFCC. She has a very client centered approach to treatment and is committed to helping people make positive changes to their lives. When not working you can find Crystal spending time with her husband or doing yoga.
