It's not even summer yet, but the heat has arrived! 🔥 It's time to protect our pets from the hazards warm weather like this brings. Remember, our dogs paws 🐾aren't as tough as some might think! They can burn easily, leaving them with a painful injury 😣 Walk your pup during the coolest part of the day like early morning and late evening. Check the surface with your hand for 10 seconds 🤚🏻 If it feels hot to you it's hot for your hound! Avoid asphalt, and choose shady/grassy areas to walk if you must be out during the warmest time of day. Spending a fun day at the beach is great, but always be mindful that sand gets extremely hot 🏖️ OUCH! Dog booties can help in some situations, but be sure they fit properly and breathe. While dog booties can offer protection, they also come with potential risks like causing your dog to overheat, as our dogs sweat through their paws as one way to cool off. So use the booties for short periods ✅ Lastly.. have fun with your pup and enjoy your pawsome adventures together🐾❤️ Be sure to share this post with friends
