Every birth is different. Every situation is different. Whether you have a vaginal unmedicated, get an epidural, use Nitrous, or have a C-section.. you all are so strong and still have to recover from not only 40 weeks of pregnancy but also whichever type of birth you end up with. Sometimes it doesn’t go exactly how you plan it to go, and that’s OK!! Sometimes it does and that’s amazing! Even if you may not have gotten your “planned” birth, if you choose to have more kids, try again! One outcome of one birth doesn’t dictate how the rest have to go! Go for the VBAC if you’re able.. try to not get an epidural, try water birth, use a different provider, hire a doula 😉 Set new goals for each situation. Be proud of yourself for all you endured up to birth and what your body and mind endure during and after birth. Don’t dwell on the what if’s and what you could have done differently. Focus on the positives of your experience. Even in loss, knowing that your baby knew nothing but your sweet voice and love is something to praise the Lord for. “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14 You are enough. You are strong. You are amazing. Own it! 🥰
