Part two of Breezy Birth Positions… helping babies find their best way through the pelvis ✨

🪑 Throne
Sitting upright allows gravity to help baby descend while opening the pelvic outlet. This is a great position for resting while still encouraging progress.

🟠 One leg over the peanut ball (mid pelvis, 0 station)
This position creates asymmetry in the pelvis, making more room for baby to engage and rotate through the mid-pelvis. Helpful when baby is at 0 station and needs space to wiggle down.

🐸 Froggy Walchers with peanut ball (knees apart, feet together)
Designed for when baby is still high… this stretches and opens the top of the pelvis, giving baby extra room to settle downward before continuing the journey.

Every position serves a purpose… knowing how and when to use them makes a big difference in labor progress and comfort 💕

Breezy Birth Positions… Part One ✨
Using a peanut ball during labor can help open your pelvis at different levels and encourage baby to find their way down.

🌸 Flying Cowgirl — helps when baby is high and needs more room at the top of the pelvis
🌸 Side Lying with Knee Up — creates space in the mid pelvis
🌸 Knees Together, Feet Apart — opens the outlet for baby when they’re low

These positions can make labor more efficient, ease discomfort, and support baby’s progress. Your doula and nurse can help you switch it up as labor unfolds 💫
