😊 Feeding aversions, limited food repertoire, “picky eating”, and restrictive eating. All are challenging but they can be resolved with a good feeding therapist to guide & support, good follow up of home program and consistency. Bravo to this young man & his parents!! 😊

The Summer Dinosaur walls have come down & we now WELCOME the FALL Season with pumpkins & friendly ATG Monsters!! All individually made by each of our clients to work on fine motor skills, tactile processing, tool use, & motor planning!

As They Grow is bidding a farewell to our AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Judy. She has graced us with her dedication & work for 8 years. She is that pleasant voice over the phone & that smiling face when you are greeted at the door. She is the “Mama Bear” to our staff & to the families and clients. She aides & supports the runnings of the office. She is also the “Cricut” master of decor. Judy has been an intricate part to making As They Grow what it is today. We all will surely miss her. From all of us at ATG & the families that we serve, THANK YOU JUDY!!!! ❤️

With her experience as being a mother, a teacher and a pediatric OT, we find her to be a perfect fit for being a member of our ATG family!! ☺️

Now that in-home telehealth sessions are a common practice for the pediatric field during this pandemic, here are a few ideas and items to consider obtaining for your children to use at home for gross motor work and obstacle course work with their OTs & during play time. 😃

Gross motor skills play an important role in the healthy development of young children. 🏃‍♂️

Here are some great ideas for improving scissor cutting skills, bilateral hand skills, tool use, and overall fine motor skill development. Use tissue paper, construction paper, or card stock paper to provide a variety of resistance for strengthening as well. ✂️✂️✂️✂️
