We are a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization known as the Alleghany Highlands Veterans Collective. We operate Healing Waters Inn and Falling Water Farm - a wilderness adventure farm which will host our outdoor recreation & wellness programs.

We serve our Veterans and their families of any era through outdoor recreation such as archery, biking, kayaking, hiking, hatchet throwing, camping, hunting, fishing and sporting events as a base for our outdoor Therapy programs. We focus on group events, as we have a firm belief that true healing will take place in a community of those of us that have experienced the struggles and sacrifices of serving our country.

Businesses or individuals are welcome to contact us to help with events and be a part of the community!

Some of our programs at the farm include:

The Veterans Healing Gardens - an organic orchard and accessible grown for veterans by veterans. We invite veterans to participate in growing organic fruits & vegetables, harvesting our crops and learning about healthy meal-planning, healthy cooking, canning and preserving.

Nature-based Therapeutic programs such as Forest-bathing, foraging for medicinal herbs, art therapy, music therapy, energy therapy, sound therapy, canine & equine therapy.

We are partnering with local business and other non-profits to enhance the mental, emotional and physical well-being of Veterans and their families.

Stay tuned for coming soon events and workshops offered throughout the year

Veterans of Augusta, Alleghany, Bath & Botetourt Counties. We are establishing our farm as a recreation and wellness center for veterans. We serve all veterans but priority is given to disbled, chronically ill and veteran cancer survivors. We will be providing physical health and wellness workshops and activities as well as fundraising events to develop the park to include hot cold springs, relaxation areas and an event center to host activities. If you are an area veteran or business that would like to help us clear accessible trails, construct decks, fire pits and wood-fired saunas and natural pools please get in touch. Other projects we need help with include: constructing a raised-bed wheelchair accessible garden, tending to the micro-orchard, rehabilitating an old cottage to serve as our farm-to-veteran organic food pantry and renovating the old fire tower.
