Stone Decoration Rules
Natural flowers may be planted in front of the stones, but not to the sides or behind them. Flowers should be planted directly into the earth, not in planters as the plastics get damaged while grounds are being trimmed.
Examples: Flowers or Mulch.
NOT Permitted: gravel, fence, wire,shrubs/trees, or pottery
Artificial Flowers and other decorations:
From October – April it is appropriate and acceptable to place artificial decorations during the harsher months of the year. These are permitted to be in front or beside the stones, but should be temporary items that don’t damage the grass. At the close of these winter months have the items removed by April 1st. Items left out may be removed and disposed of by cemetery staff.
**Artificial Flowers need to be disposed of off grounds as the cemetery doesn’t have garbage pickup. Please be courteous.
Common Examples: Wreaths, military emblems, flags etc.
Flags are permitted year round in front of stones. Same with military emblems/signage.
