We just wanted to share a gentle reminder that we truly appreciate each and every family we serve. Our goal is to make sure everyone receives the time, space, and care they deserve during such an important moment.

We kindly ask that you arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. A few minutes early is perfectly fine, but arriving significantly earlier can unintentionally overlap with another family’s private time. Because we operate in a small, intimate space, keeping to appointment times helps us maintain a peaceful, personal atmosphere for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep this space respectful for all. 🙏

🐾 A visit From Jersey 🤍

Recently, we had the honor of caring for a beloved dog named Justice. His family chose a custom engraving for his urn — a beautiful and personal tribute on a dark Mahogany wood Urn.

When they came to pick up Justice's Urn, they brought along his sister, Jersey. Moments like that mean more to us than words can say.

We always love when families visit us with their pets. While we walk alongside you during one of life’s hardest goodbyes, we also deeply cherish the joy, loyalty, and life that living pets bring into your homes every single day.

At Happy Trails, we care for pets in their afterlife with dignity and honor — but we celebrate and appreciate the living just as much. Seeing Jersey by her family’s side was a quiet reminder of why this work matters.

To Justice’s family — thank you for trusting us with his care. And Jersey, thank you for the visit. 🐾

Greetings, we have heard some concerns regarding our pricing and would like to take a moment to share our values with transparency and respect. Our service is deeply personal. Every pet entrusted to our care is treated as a family member—not a number—because we understand the bond you share and the story behind each life.

We remain available 24/7, including weekends and holidays, because loss does not follow a schedule. To be there when families need us most, our team often steps away from their own families during after-hours and weekends to care for yours. This level of dedication is intentional and is a core part of what sets us apart.

While after-hours fees do apply, we are committed to compassion and accessibility. We offer payment plans and additional options such as CareCredit, and we are always willing to work with families who are willing to work with us. Our priority is thoughtful care, delivered with fairness. This is also why we operate by appointment only; ensuring each family receives our full attention and time when they need it most.

This commitment to our standards is also why we are no longer partnered with Best Friends Veterinary Hospital. While our pricing was viewed as too high for their clients, we will not allow corporate based veterinary clinics interests to dictate the quality, dignity, or personal attention we provide. We are a small, family-owned business, built from the ground up, with a mission centered on serving our community—not compromising it.

Your trust and support allow us to continue growing with purpose. We are actively planning for a future stand-alone facility where families may choose to witness the cremation process and have access to expanded memorial selections. Your patronage honors each pet’s story and directly contributes to the future of Happy Trails, ensuring we can continue to serve families with the same unwavering dedication and care.

We just wanted to take a moment to shine a light on one of our amazing customers who recently turned a little slip-up into a truly heartwarming exchange. When we accidentally forgot to include Max’s fur keepsake in his bag, we made sure to send it her way as quickly as possible (via USPS Priority Express). Her response? She went above and beyond to thank us with a thoughtful gift in return!
