Small Change Works If You Feel ‘Stuck’ with unwanted feelings and behaviors,

I'll help put a smile on your face, 'help you 'lighten up', provoke your curiosity, strengthen your connection to yourself and give you additional resources, in less than 90 minutes, or I'll give you an additional session free I offer personalized change work sessions for people who want to
explore the Possibility of changing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Sessions are customized to fit your individual needs and intentions. I specialize in helping you explore the possibility of making small changes (usually several small changes) that can help you in changing unwanted, problematic or bothersome feelings and states like anger, anxiety, guilt, shame, panic and undue stress. I think of what I do as being educational;
it can also be a bit humorous and thus therapeutic- "laughter is the best medicine". It differs from traditional approaches to change (i.e. talking about your feelings, or your story, or being labeled with a 'diagnosis'. My training and experience have led me to an approach where there is more emphasis on building a metaphor of what is the problem state 'like' . For example-- 'its like I'm tripping over my own feet" or "I feel 'boxed in'" or "I just can't keep up" or "I've fallen into the pit of despair" or "I'm so angry I could just 'explode'. ( I understand some of this- I was 'stuck in a rut' for a long time.) One of the advantages of using metaphors is that-
Sessions can be done in a way that is not embarrassing and-shsss- (a bit 'secretive'.) Another advantage is that what I do is personalized (client based) and I'll help you using your language, Your natural language and metaphors, in developing options for change. There is an emphasis on strategies and creating more choices in
regard to behavior and feelings. I offer flexible hours and reasonable fees. I also offer and small group workshops

Think small-more individual attention. Think practical- skills you can use in your everyday life. Think fun-presentations are short and engaging-you get to
practice new skills and behaviors in a safe environment. Workshops -Goal Setting, 'Self-Management' skills, Exploring timelines
and others that can be created depending on your needs.
