Spring is finally here! This season always serves as a good reminder of new beginnings and growth. Just like you can tend to your budding garden, so too can you cultivate what's known as a growth mindset. A growth mindset is all about the attitude with which you face challenges, process failures, adapt and evolve. Here are some ingredients you need to cultivate your own growth mindset :)

In the month of February it's not unusual to be bombarded by messages reminding us to show love to the significant people in our lives by way of flowers, chocolate and stuffed animals. It's certainly nice to be able to express our love for others in these ways, but let us not forget to show love to ourselves first. So take yourself out on a date, buy yourself your favorite flowers, write yourself a love letter, and by all means eat your favorite chocolate :)

It is officially a new year, which means it's time to do some reflecting. What did you accomplish last year? What challenges did you face and what lessons did you learn? Asking yourself questions like this can help you to process your feelings, get some perspective, and start the new year off with some intentions for what you hope to achieve and focus on. Here are some journal prompts to further guide your process as you prepare to take on 2024 :)

The month of November challenges us to embrace the power of gratitude. Sometimes it can be challenging to appreciate where you are in life when it's not exactly where you'd like to be. I challenge you to remember that where you are now matters just as much as where you want to be. Appreciating all the small moments, even the challenging moments, teaches us to appreciate the journey a little more. Even if it doesn't feel like it in the moment, the challenges we face may be just the stepping stones we needed to grow.

It's a new month, which means new beginnings. Let's start fresh and assess what happened last month and how we're planning to approach this month. This is your opportunity to shift that mindset, create new intentions, and live consciously instead of running on auto pilot. Give this self check-in process a try to get the most out of this month!

Did you know that 95% of our daily decisions are made by our subconsious mind? While the human mind is designed to handle this, this also means that we sometimes run on autopilot, with our decisions mostly resulting from old blueprints and beliefs. This can be problematic when you start feeling like you can't focus, you're lacking that momentum you're looking for, you're having self-limiting thoughts, or you're just stuck in the grind and never question if you're on the right path. Living intentionally may be just what you need. Intentions prime your brain to go in the direction you most what it to go by identifying an aim and purpose for what you're doing right now, setting a specific mindset or feeling, staying in the present, and reminding you how you want to live out each day. Give it a try!

Ever been stuck in an endless loop about what decision to make? Overthinking your choices is an all too common thing I see and if I'm honest I experience it myself from time to time. Tolerating uncertainty and doubt are really challenging, but it's up to us to start making a different choice; one that's good enough.

Summer anxiety sounds like an oxymoron, but it's a real thing. It can look like: feeling moodier/on edge, increased sadness, more frequent panic attacks, feeling more agitated/tense, difficulty sleeping, dreading vacations, worrying/obsessing more. If you're experiencing any of these symptoms you're not alone.
The lack of structure, fear of missing out, changes in routine, and physical sensitivity to heat and humidity can make anxiety worse in the summer. Here are some tips to help you through this summer :)
