💜💜Meet Christy💜💜
:
My name is Christy Holland and I have been teaching yoga since 2013. I began my yoga journey a bit backwards by becoming certified in Stand-Up-Paddle board (SUP) yoga first and then transferring to land.

My 200hr training began with Hot Power and Hot Vinyasa yoga right here in Cu***ng. Since then I have achieved an additional 300 hr certification along with Aerial and TRX training.

I am a wife and a mother of 2 adult kids that are both in college as of this fall 2024. My husband and I are now officially empty-nesters. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat and 2 turtles at home to keep us busy. We like hiking, being outdoors, and consider “football” our favorite season.

For me, yoga is a way of life that keeps me grounded, and a great way to connect with people and share. I look forward to a new yoga journey with you.

🌳🌳Meet Emily Cook (she/her), E-RYT 200

Emily Cook has been teaching yoga since 2013, following her 200-hour certification with Lifted Heart Yoga under the guidance of Cybele Steen and Tami Roberts.

While she had practiced Yoga Fit and Body Flow for years prior, she found a deep appreciation for the pure healing power of traditional yoga.

Over the past decade, Emily has taught at various local studios, universities, and through private lessons, both in-person and online. She specializes in Hatha, Vinyasa (flow), Restorative, and Yin styles.

In her role as a social worker, Emily integrates the healing techniques of yoga to support a diverse range of clients and students.

For Emily, yoga transcends physical practice; it serves as a channel for spiritual awakening, mental clarity, and emotional healing. She motivates her students to overcome limiting beliefs and connect with their highest selves. Each class is thoughtfully designed and led with purpose, featuring a sankalpa (intention or resolution) and accompanied by a themed playlist. Emily’s classes offer a balance of challenge and gentleness, catering to all levels of practice. She looks forward to connecting with you on the mat!

Join us for a FUN & challenging workshop where we “Learn to Fly” and explore how to approach a variety of arm balances with ease & greater confidence. Arm balances are empowering postures from which we can learn an abundance about ourselves & how we approach fear on and off the mat.

We will warm up with a short but vigorous flow designed to warm full body, ignite core strength and fire up shoulder girdle in preparation for balancing on the hands. Come with a playful attitude and light expectations as we just breathe and FLY!
