I am so excited to get back into the swing of things & what better way than with Miss Charlotte, Mommy & Daddy. This family is very special & dear to me. This beautiful little lady's mommy is one of my daughter's ballet teachers. Friday, I got to spend the morning with them & what a dream & beauty. Miss C was an angel & I loved my time with them all🥰 I hope you enjoy the peeks into this beautiful session.

This little lady made me realize how much I have missed my babies❤️

Happy New Year!

I am Christiana Barrett the face & photographer of Photographic Emotions. I know many are wondering what & were did I go over this last year. Well LIFE got me & medical challenges with my youngest made me pull back at everything I was doing and solely put my focus on him & everything he was going through. We have had a year of adjusting & learning as a family. In September 2021 we found out our youngest was loosing his hearing. Life had started changing drastically for him & we could not figure it out. In November it was confirmed & with the quick action of his Dr he received his 1st hearing aid December 23. Over the next 9 months our family adjusted with him. Some days were easy others not so much. In September 2022 we got more heartbreaking news that he was loosing hearing in the other ear. With the quick action of his new Dr he went in for surgery to try and stop the loss on December 22nd 2022. After surgery we found out he has less than a 30% chance of it working. But we are praying that God is bigger & it will take. We still have many challenges ahead but together we will overcome them all. He is adjusting well to only hearing with one ear & we hope to know more on the 26th when we have his follow-up.

With that I wanted to let my clients know I'm still here & excited to jump back into what I love & am passionate about. I can't begin to tell you all how much I have missed being behind my camera & capturing memories for all of you.

So I am excited to announce that I will be putting together Mommy & Me Minis, Ballet Mini Sessions, Milestones & so much more as we head into the new year. If you are expecting or know someone that is please send them my way. I am so excited to start back with my Newborns & little one:)

My name is Christiana Barrett and I have lived in Georgia for 18 years.... I’m a mom to 4, married to the love of my life for 11 years, lover of the beach, DIY nut & when I’m not behind my camera I love spending time with my Family and Friends.

I have always had a passion for wanting to capture a person’s emotions in print. Most of my life I have walked around with a camera in hand looking for the perfect location, the tenderness of a smile or the beauty of a face.

After the birth of my son, my desire to capture each and every special moment of his life became a full time job. This is what I will bring to each and every photograph I take. My photography is about the person and their emotions. It is an expression of what that person is trying to convey. It is passion, beauty, innocence, laughter, new beginnings, celebrations, love, family, children, and memories that will last a life time.

I believe that a photograph should tell a story. Photographic Emotions will speak from the very paper it is printed on. Your photographs will tell “Your Story“. This is what I will capture from each and every customer. Your story….I want your thoughts and desires in print so you may have them preserved forever.
