• unclench your jaw
• drop your shoulders
• take a slow inhale through your nose
• longer exhale through your mouth
• look around and name 3 things you see

That’s it.

You’re not trying to “calm down” perfectly

One of the hardest truths to sit with is this:

People can only meet the version of you that you show them.

So if you’re:
– overgiving
– over-explaining
– people-pleasing
– always “easy to love”

You might be deeply loved…
but still feel completely unseen.

Because they’re loving a version of you
that learned how to survive.

Not the version of you
that wants to be held, understood, and chosen.

And that creates a quiet kind of loneliness that’s hard to explain.

Here’s the shift:
Vulnerability isn’t about being dramatic or “too much”.

It’s about letting safe people see:
– when you’re not okay
– when you need more
– when something hurt
– when you don’t have it all together

That’s where real connection lives.

✨ Not in perfection

✨ But in truth
