CCBH Overdose Prevention The Cuyahoga County Overdose Prevention team works to prevent overdose deaths. CCBH has a valued history addressing drug overdose prevention.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) is the Overall Project Lead for the CDC Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Initiative. CCBH has participated in drug overdose prevention activities and initiatives and has assumed a lead role in statewide and local injury prevention related groups, task forces and partnerships. We are focused on working closely with all of our collaborative partners to ensure the proposed data/evaluation and prevention strategies are successfully implemented. CCBH has assumed a lead role in the Ohio Injury Prevention Partnership (OIPP), acting as Chair for the OIPP in 2012 and participating on the Ohio Overdose Prevention Network (OPN). CCBH co-leads the Cuyahoga County Opiate Task Force (CCOTF) established in 2010. The Overdose Prevention staff also serves as the coordinator of the Overdose Fatality Review (OFR).
