Life doesn’t have to be perfect, and neither do your routines. 🤍

On busy days, it’s the small habits that help me feel like myself again:
1️⃣ Protein to start my day – my morning coffee with protein and collagen fuels me, helps reduce cravings, and keeps me feeling strong and energized for the day ahead.

2️⃣ A quiet moment for myself – whether it’s sipping my coffee or a quick workout, this pause helps me reset and start my day grounded.

3️⃣ Magnesium before bed – a tiny ritual that supports calm and a good nights rest.

These little rituals give me energy, calm, and a sense of control even when motherhood, work, and life feel overwhelming.

What small habit helps you feel like yourself on a busy day?

Two things can be true at the same time.

You can love your life.
You can be grateful for your family and friends, and the life you’ve built.

And some days can still feel overwhelming.

Motherhood has a way of making us feel like we’re supposed to hold everything together all the time. But the truth is, some seasons are just heavy... and that’s okay. 🫶

Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful. It doesn’t mean you’re failing. It just means you’re human.

That’s why I believe in building small habits that support us in real life, not chasing the idea of perfect motherhood.

Today is International Women’s Day, and I keep thinking about how much quiet strength exists in motherhood.

The women getting up with tired eyes.
Packing lunches.
Carrying the mental load.
Trying again tomorrow when today didn’t go perfectly.

Strength doesn’t always look like big achievements.

Sometimes it looks like drinking your water, taking a walk, asking for help, or choosing one small habit that helps you feel a little better.

To the women doing a lot of invisible work, I see you. And you’re doing better than you think. 💕

Lately my husband and I keep saying the same thing…
“I’m so tired of deciding what’s for supper.”

So instead of overthinking it, we’ve been leaning into a few meals we make on repeat.

Nothing fancy.
Just meals that work for our family and don’t take a ton of mental energy.

If you’re burnt out on deciding what’s for dinner this week… feel free to steal these!

And if you want, tell me one meal your family has on repeat too. I’m always looking for ideas! 🫶

“I just don’t feel like myself.”

I used to hear women say that and honestly… I didn’t fully understand what they meant.

Then postpartum hit.

The hormones, the emotions, the physical changes and suddenly I understood. That feeling of being in your own body but not quite feeling like you.

What I didn’t realize until this conversation is that hormonal shifts don’t just happen after having a baby.

Many women start experiencing hormone changes again in their 30s as perimenopause begins, and a lot of us have no idea that’s even possible.

In our Pause on Menopause Coffee Chat we had such an honest conversation about hormones, perimenopause, and what so many women experience but rarely talk about.

And tomorrow we continue the conversation.

Our next Coffee Chat drops with Cassie Haak, nurse practitioner from Revival IV & Wellness, as we dive deeper into women’s wellness and the tools that can help us feel like ourselves again.

You’re not behind.
You’re carrying a lot.

Motherhood is invisible work.
Mental load.
Schedules.
Appointments.
Meals.
Emotions.
The constant background responsibility.

Of course it feels harder to “stay consistent.”

And here’s what I’ve noticed..
When life feels heavy, we assume we need to do more.

Usually… we just need to make it simpler.

Simpler.
More doable.
More realistic for this season.

A glass of water.
A short walk.
Protein at breakfast.
Five quiet minutes.

You’re not failing.
You’re carrying a lot.

Instead of starting over this week, what would feel simple enough to repeat? 🫶
