🌿 When a Journey Ends… But Something Bigger Begins
Over the past few days, I’ve seen something beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

So many of you are quietly grieving, not because the Walk for Peace failed…
but because it succeeded.

Because somewhere along these miles, a community was born.
Because strangers became companions.
Because hope became something you felt in your chest, not just believed in your mind.

Some have asked, “What happens after the 14th?”
Others fear that this sacred energy might fade once the footsteps stop.

But here’s the truth — and it’s a powerful one:

The Walk for Peace was never only about walking.
It was about awakening something in us that keeps moving long after the road ends.

The official page reminded us today that while the physical journey is nearing completion,
the path of peace continues — through every kind choice, every gentle word, every act of compassion we carry forward.

And honestly… that might be the most beautiful part.

Because now, peace no longer belongs to a road.
It belongs to us.

To those watching from hospital beds, small apartments, distant countries, quiet corners of the world,
you didn’t just witness this walk.
You walked it in spirit.
And that counts.

Maybe what’s ending isn’t a movement,
maybe what’s ending is the need for distance between us.

Former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn is running for Congress in Maryland's 5th Congressional District.

Dunn rose to national prominence for his testimony in congressional hearings about defending the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, when a violent mob of supporters of Donald Trump stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to prevent Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren HAMMERS Trump’s Treasury Secretary on his lies as American families struggle with groceries — “I DON’T KNOW IF YOU CAN HEAR ME!”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren came armed with facts, patience, and zero tolerance for nonsense — and Trump Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent promptly unraveled.

Testifying before the Senate Banking Committee about the Trump economy, Bessent tried to gaslight his way through a simple reality: Americans can’t afford groceries. According to Donald Trump, that’s all a “hoax,” a “scam,” a “con job.” Warren asked the obvious follow-up: Is affordability fake, or not?

Bessent squirmed. It was “nuanced,” he said — then blamed the entire crisis on the “Biden-Warren economy.” Translation: nothing bad is Trump’s fault, even a year into Trump’s presidency.

Then came the moment that went viral.

Trump had just claimed, “We have the groceries going down.” Warren asked Bessent — repeatedly — whether grocery prices actually dropped in 2025. Each time, Bessent dodged with the same meaningless talking point: “Numerous prices have.”

Finally, Warren cut through the fog. “I’m sorry — I don’t know if you can hear me.”

And then she buried him.

Citing Trump’s own Bureau of Labor Statistics, Warren laid out the truth Bessent refused to say: grocery prices were 2.4% higher at the end of 2025 than the year before. Trump’s own Department of Agriculture projects prices will climb even more in 2026. Families aren’t thriving — they’re drowning.

Warren didn’t stop there.
She pressed Bessent on Trump’s open intimidation of the Federal Reserve, asking whether Trump’s Fed pick Kevin Warsh would be sued or criminally investigated if he didn’t slash interest rates on command. Bessent couldn’t promise that that wouldn’t happen — then tried to laugh it off as a “joke.”

Warren wasn’t laughing. “The American people aren’t laughing,” she said. “They’re the ones struggling.”

This hearing exposed the Trump economic agenda in full: deny reality, dodge accountability, threaten institutions, and mock anyone who tells the truth. Elizabeth Warren made sure America heard it loud and clear — even if Scott Bessent pretended not to.

Fred Biery, United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas, issued a scathing indictment of Trump and his thugs as he ordered the release of 5-year-old Liam Ramos and his father. The following are excerpts:

"The case has its genesis in the ill-conceived and incompetently-implemented government pursuit of daily deportation quotas, apparently even if it requires traumatizing children."

"Apparent also is the government's ignorance of an American historical document called the Declaration of Independence. Thirty-three-year-old Thomas Jefferson enumerated grievances against a would-be authoritarian king over our nascent nation. Among others were:

1. "He has sent hither Swarms of Officers to harass our People."

2. "He has excited domestic Insurrection among us.”

3. "For quartering large Bodies of Armed Troops among us."

4. "He has kept among us, in Times of Peace, Standing Armies without the consent of our Legislatures."

"We the people" are hearing echos of that history."

"And then there is that pesky inconvenience called the Fourth Amendment:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue,but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and persons or things to be seized."

"Civics lesson to the government: Administrative warrants issued by the executive branch to itself do not pass probable cause muster. That is called the fox guarding the hen house. The Constitution requires an independent judicial officer."

"Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And the rule of law be damned."
